Roots Canada Holiday Gift Guide 2015
The Roots Canada Gift Guide: the international company published a comprehensive Holiday Gift Guide in association with the Travel & Tourism board of Alberta. With a national circulation three times the size of every major publication in the country, the Gift Guide was a team effort that showcased The Roots Canada Holiday Collection in the wilderness of Banff National Park.
Print - We created a holiday catalogue showcasing evocative destinations paired with striking off-figure photography. We directed a series of photo shoots aimed at conveying the Roots Canada culture and designed a print catalogue that matched the elevated Roots lifestyle.
Our Journey - We saddled up with Banff Trail Riders to explore Banff by horseback. With a wintry backdrop of sweeping mountains and towering pines, we experienced the Alberta backcountry like never before. See more of our adventures in Banff & Lake Louise on roots.com!
Back to our Roots - We searched through the archives to bring you an old favourite, back in all its vintage glory. Trust us, the Norwegian three point sweater looks just as good countryside as it does street-side.
The Roots Gift Card - For finding exactly what they want!
A Family Favourite - Super soft, super comfortable and just as cozy as snuggling up by the fire, our Salt & Pepper sweats are a gift everyone loves.
web - An interactive, 'shoppable' online lookbok gave users a clear path-to-purchase and highlighted the brands focus on an onmi-channel integrated marketing strategy. The result conveys the essence of the Roots Canada core values.
This time of year has always had a special place in our hearts, gathering with our friends & family to celebrate the season. Nothing says Canada quite like winter in the great outdoors. For this year’s gift guide we travelled to breathtaking Banff & Lake Louise to photograph the majestic snow-capped mountains of Alberta.

Our Journey - This alpine lake, known for its sparkling blue waters is quite often referred to as Canada’s Crown Jewel. Lake Louise sits on the base of impressive glacier-clad peaks offering jaw dropping views; the peacefulness of the still icy water and its surrounding beauty made it a must-see on our adventure.
